Genesis, as shown in the second of the 10 star trek movies shows great power in dominating life form like never before. Glad its science fiction though. But would power like this actually have any importance in todays life?
Never mind all that, this was supposed to be my first blog of my favourite Football club Arsenal. Now the name of this club would bring about memories about how clinically United exposed Arsenal and made them look like school boys who can just about kick the ball around. The Arsenal team I saw on the 5th of may brought back memories of my budding football days. This was in 6th grade. I could just about kick the ball without feeling excruciating pain in my foot. My love for football had just begun. My love saga with football began entirely because I could not play cricket as I was so small. Not Messi small but relatively small and nothing as hard as a rock came hurtling at you at blinding speed like a red ball. Something you could kick away from you is always safer. Well these were my memories of that night. United's commitment and their awesome power that night made Arsenal look like amatures. But honestly Arsenal didn't play that badly either. They were attacking with gusto and looked more that willing to get the two goals to go to the Champions Legaue final. But as luck would have it and also as luck would not have it, Arsenal ended up getting kicked in the face before they had caught their breath from their first attack on United's defence.
B@%^#y hell!!! WTF!!!, my inital reaction initially to the first goal , and after the second goal it was like as though the portugese lady boy took a snipers rifle and shot me in the heart all the way from the middle of the pitch from Ashburton Grove. I'm sure this feeling resonated by most gunners. Nothing taken away from him, he was at his majestic best on the eve. Hats off to him he is truly great. Probably the most influential player to walk the Earth as of now.
My last words for the first blog are about and for Gibbs. All I can say is poor kid. He really has played well in the absence of Clichy and really stood up in the left back role. I'm sure he will turn out to become one great left back. Arsenal's genesis needs to take place next season and on a major scale keeping the foundation we already have.
Believe in Arsenal..Arsenal for life..
