End of a season..End of time till August atleast..

Well what can one say but a fitting end to a brilliant match. I think it must have come as a complete shock for United as they were completely out played through the entire course of the match. But they did show just acouple of glimpses of their attacking flair. Barca were deservedly the winners. Xavi, Iniesta and Messi vs Manchester United, that was the match everyone witnessed last night. It was all about those three and the "other" team. Also it was a comfortable victory for Barca. I was a bit dissapointed as I had expected a BIG match as the finals was perfectly "set up". Didn't expect the dominance which Barca put on display. I was expecting a 3-2 in favour of Barca with a last gasp goal like agains't Chelsea.
Well two good things happened last night and a "saying" by a certain french left back was proved correct. Henry finally got his hands on the trophy and I am very very very happy for him and Messi proved beyond doubt as to who is the best football player of our generation.

Finally, "it was like men playing agains't babies" was proved without doubt. Let a certain frenchman eat his words and "enjoy" them. A fist fight would not be bad either. I just hope the certain frenchman has his nut sacks where they usually are.

The depression is setting in slowly. Realising that there wont be another EPL match till August it a depressing thing. Hope the worldcup qualifiers make up for this tepid gap in time.

Mr Wenger with all respect..read the following

Dear Mr Wenger, I have been an Arsenal fan for as long as you have been the coach of the club. I was about 10 years old then, I'll be 23 this year. All the emotions and feelings that I have gone through all these 13 seasons are second to no other experiences of such nature in my life. The sentimental value for this reason is very high. I have gotten used to world class players coming to Arsenal playing wonderful football and leaving behind a legacy. Also the most important fact is that there is Mr Arsene Wenger at the helm. The confidence that we have in Arsenal FC is because of you. We know what you are doing for Arsenal is in the best interest of the team and all the people who make up the team. The criticisms you have heard are from a minor part of the whole crowd. Believe me you are very much appreciated and are irreplaceable. I don't think anyone in the world is up to your standards and can take over. So please do take Arsenal forward and do not let go of us you are the one and only CHOSEN one.

Movie or not to movie

Now that EPL is just about over and the remaining two matches would have as much effect as Adebayor would have playing defence its time to turn to movies. Now just waiting for Star Trek, GI Joe, Terminator 4, Trasformers 2 to name some and some I dont know about to come out to entertain the EPL deprived fan(s).

Robin Van Persie: 11

Robin Van Persie is one of the most versatile strikers in the premier league and more importantly he plays for ARSENAL. He is one of the most important and most liked player in the current squad. He has developed wonderfully under Wenger and I do urge him to commit his future to the gunners like Walcott. He is one of the most feared strikers and deserves the recognition he gets especially this season as he has been in outstanding form.

Mr RVP, if you ever get to see this, please do sign the new contract and don't do a Flamini and a Hleb to us gunners. This is not just from me but from the legions of fans and followers you have. You are a senior in the team and now its your turn to take over the mantle from Bergkamp and Henry and so on. Its your turn to inspire the Gunners, players and the fans.

gunner for life..

A new hope with a hint of a smile

Speed deamon Walcott has signed a long term deal. Sounds very very very nice. Arsenal is atleast heading the right was. Hope we don't lose important players like last summer. With Clichy out for the rest of the season Gibbs will be filling in again. This sunday he will be playing again and should get a really good receeption from the fans. He deserves it. Arsenal supporters at the Emirates should get behind him completely as he would definitely be more down than the marina trench.

Anyways lets all sit back and enjoy the remaining 3 matches of the season for the gunners. Nothing to lose nothing to gain. Just may be we could stop United from winning the title but that is still far fetched but an achievment nevertheless.

Dampner Sunday

Looks like the match between Arsenal and Chelsea on sunday is going to be a stale bore of a game. Both the semi final losers are just going to play for the sake of playing. But I feel Drogba will be there waiting to feast on Arsenal as he always does. The past few meetings over the years he has always scored vital goals agains't Arsenal. The animal that he is seems to be able to waltz through the Arsenal defence. However after the emotionally and physically draining match they had Chelsea wont be at their best at the Emirates. I feel Arsenal will come out on top in this tie as they were rank outsiders in the semi finals and were out of the contest within the first 10 minutes of the match. Chelsea on the other hand played wonderfully to hold Barca down and were kicked out of the tournament in the last 60 seconds of the match. Though both teams will be hurt Arsenal will come out stronger as Arshavin will be playing and Chelsea haven't got a taste of his genious yet. Also with him having the freshest legs on the pitch, it might be too much for Chelsea to do anything about. 2-0 to the gunners on sunday.

victory through harmony..
